The Curse of Christmas refers to a trend where the team at the bottom of the table at Christmas has been relegated at the end of the season every year except one (2004/05 West Bromwich Albion) { First pic } since the Premiership started in 1992.
The momentous achievement has since been dubbed 'The Great Escape' { Pic B ] due to its improbability, particularly as West Brom were still bottom of the league on the morning of the last day of the season .

the picture is a brown budgie bird of some sort and humans usually pet them as love birds.They are very well known escape artists , that is they can escape through most of the traps easily if trained..the picture is from the movie "THe great Escape" starring richard attenborough, steve Mcqueen etc ,escaping from german POW camp stalag luft..anyways the picture gives away easily there's a light house or its a search light ..people are running, they have airforce insignia and badges on them..they have got to be escaping from something...

However they failed to avoid the drop the following season,and Robson was replaced by Tony Mowbray in October
